CAT6 Shielded EZ-RJ45 Plugs

The Black Box EZ connectors meet the specifications of CAT5e or CAT6. The connector has a simple one-piece construction with no terminal strips or inserts. This allows the technician to be connected through the connector cable just to the head end of the connector. Thus, the wiring of the cables are more easily visually checked before crimping.

To further optimize the electrical performance, the technician can pull the connector firmly over the cable sheath. Thus, the cable is secure at the back of the connector and the distance between the twist and the contacts can be minimized.

Especially in in low light levels and awkward spaces it’s hard to see what you’re doing, to cut to length correctly, and poke the wires into the right apertures. The EZ connector simplify your on site termination and save time. Easy visual checks and proper fitting offer greater reliability and real cost savings.

Use the EZ-RJ45 Crimp Tool (FT1100A) or EZ-RJPRO™ Crimp Tool (FT1200A).

Advantages of EZ terminations:
- No need to trim the outer jacket to an exact length, just pull the wires through until it is correct.
- Easier to see the wire colours, and make sure the wires are correctly placed.
- With diagonal cuts the wires get easier into the guides in the plug without error.
- No problems with some wires end up too short to go to the end of the guide.
